At framework of the project «Establishment of Energy Agencies in Ukraine», implemented by «Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH» in common with the Association «Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine» and Odessa Municipal Energy Agency, was started the project «Schools of Energy».

At framework of the project «Establishment of Energy Agencies in Ukraine», implemented by «Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH» on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, the Association «Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine» (EECU) and Odessa Municipal Energy Agency was started the project «Schools of Energy».

The project aims to improve energy efficiency and energy saving through the preparation and implementation of students energy audits and other energy training events in Ukrainian schools.
In our city project is implemented by the Odessa Municipal Energy Agency (OMEA), created on the basis of enterprise “Agency of Odessa Development Programmes” in cooperation with the NGO “Odessa Developmet Fund”.
In the process of project implementation representatives of the three schools in Odessa (№1, №40 and №100) have successfully participated in the training in Lviv 22-24 February 2016. As a result of the training coordinator of the project in Odessa defined project goals, was developed an initial implementation of its program and certain ways of its realization.
At present, in the aforementioned schools study and provide the necessary information to the Odessa coordinator of the Project.
This project will be implemented during February-October 2016.
